Colorado is the perfect elopement destination. The San Juan Mountains including Durango, Telluride, and Silverton specifically are some of the most beautiful mountains in the state. As elopement photographers in Colorado, we make it our job to help you plan your elopement.

Get Married Outside

We travel to all parts of Colorado and the Four Corners area including Pagosa Springs, CO, Telluride, CO, Sedona, AZ, Moab, UT, Sante Fe, NM and more! Whether you want to elope in Colorado or elope in Utah, we want to be your elopement photographers.

What are Adventure Weddings + Elopements?

More and more couples are realizing that traditional weddings just aren’t for them. They want their wedding day to be unique, filled with their own values and interests. For a lot of folks, that means spending their day in places that matter most to them, the outdoors. We’re talking about a whole spectrum of weddings that span from the run-a-way elopement to the less traditional outdoor wedding. Most folks think that eloping means they aren’t allowed to have guests, that’s just not true! There are plenty of couples that choose to invite their parents, close family or friends to witness their special day.

Quite simply, Elopements are a way for a couple to focus on spending the day with one another while eliminating distractions. The distractions of dealing with caterers, a band, hundreds of guests, some of which they hardly know. Eloping in Colorado is an absolute dream. As elopement photographers in CO, we are constantly searching for new and exciting ceremony sites.

The Importance of Elopement Photography

Eloping is all about spending your wedding day the way you (and your loved one) wish to spend the day. It’s about removing the clutter and embracing the important parts of the day. Typically this means you’ll have less guests. Inevitably you’ll want to be able to share snippets of your day with people who weren’t at your wedding. This is when the photographer comes in! Having beautiful, intimate, authentic images of your wedding day is important not only to share with others, but to remissness years later with your hubby/wifey. Colt and Hannah specialize in outdoor elopement photography especially in the desert southwest or the rocky mountains of Colorado.

Oh, and also! We have exciting news. We also photograph elopements in 35mm film! We have absolutely fallen in love with film, so we’ve started integrating it into our digital work. If you want the tangible physical feel of film, ask us about incorporating it into your photo shoot!
